Eensgovonden is home to two wonderful nature reserves.  The lower reserve is 16 hectares of pone of the few examples of Breede Sand Fynbos which has suffered severe habitat loss over the years.  The upper reserve is 400 hectares of mountain and rocky fynbos.  Guests and bona fide naturalists are welceome to explore both reserves, and the mountain reserve contains the mountain peaks of Bloukop (791 m) and Queen Victoria Peak (1300 m).  Both peaks can be hiked in suitable weather conditions.
