Welcome to Eensgevonden Farm

Nestled in the heart of the Breede River valley, Eensgevonden is a busy working farm producing some of the region’s finest grapes which produce outstanding wine. The farm is also home to a historical heritage farmstead, three country-retreat hideaway guest cottages, a small fruit and olive orchard, and two private nature reserves.  The mountain nature reserve has hiking trails up to Bloukop peak and Queen Victoria peak, and has stunning panoramic views over the Breedekloof winelands and Brandvlei dam.

Situated between Worcester and Rawsonville, Eensgevonden is just an hour and a half away from Cape Town, and set in the glorious scenery of the Breede river valley, nestled at the foot of the mountains.

Under New Management

In August 2024 Eensgevonden made the transition to new ownership with Martin Kellett taking over from Sally and Douglas.  Martin has studied viticulture and winemaking at Stellenbosch University under Prof du Toit, and has more than twenty years experience growing grapes in the challenging climate of Southern England.  Martin is fully committed to continue the finest traditions of this historic farm.
